Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of applications. The ability to manufacture and engineer models for improved safety comes from the new technology that is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
Yale likes to incorporate new technology that is available into their newest designs. Some of the new technologies that are available are initially applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts various reliability development and controlled field tests in order to make sure that their products are really safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed many new features, that have been incorporated on lots of models like:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been designed with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and fatigue. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Having adjustable operator's compartment and controls allows the necessary controls to be able to be positioned in close proximity to a huge range of operators. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Prior to starting their shift, the operator can make sure she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation known as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machinery if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
