Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform which is meant to hoist workers is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
