Potain Cranes Hawaii

Potain Cranes Hawaii

The company Potain was established within La Clayette, France during 1928. Ever since that time, the company has grown into a leading producer of cranes. The company is responsible for over 100,000 cranes in operation all-around the world. Now, the company manufacturers over 60 models from various production facilities inside France, China, Germany, Italy and Portugal. The company represents many different product ranges designed for a variety of applications. These machines are sold through a global Manitowoc dealer network.

The family of Potain cranes are divided into different tower crane families. The smallest cranes produced by Potain are the self-erecting cranes. These cranes vary from 1 ton to 7.98 ton capacity. The next size up is the top-slewing cranes that are both larger and higher. These cranes vary from 7.98 to 64 tons. In addition, these are the largest special application cranes that are custom-designed. These models offer a reach capacity of 160 tons.

Some of the main innovations with the company consist of the LLC range of hoists, the Dialog control system and the Vision Cab. The growing reputation of the company has expanded their appeal with different models. Potain cranes are often found on conventional construction sites, power stations, bridge building projects, shipbuilding yards and ship-building projects.

Manitowoc has 2 of their largest manufacturing facilities within the United States. The Manitowoc manufacturing facility is situated in Wisconsin. In this state, both crawler cranes and the tower crane parts are made within Pennsylvania in the Shady Grove facility. Here boom trucks and mobile cranes are built. Regional offices are located in Mexico and in Brazil. Also, the extensive dealer network found all around the United States and Hawaii offers coverage and support unrivalled by any other crane producer.

Manitowoc has dominated the lifting market in North America for over 50 years. They have built their solid reputation with a combination of outstanding support and service and quality products. The well-known names of National Crane, Manitowoc Cranes and Grove have been leading members of their market sectors within Hawaii, Latin and South America and USA.
