End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machinery and is common in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications that require frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
Many businesses utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines can arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks additionally have a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just provides a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
