The Combilift company was started by two great engineers, Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. Between them, they had more than 40 years of experience in engineering when they founded the business during the year 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In only more than a decade, Combilift became a leader in the global long-load handling market, providing products to over 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted global network of distributors which have assisted expand distribution into many markets all around the globe and utilizing their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have made equipment which are in high demand and had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009.
