Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful deceleration and acceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: To really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
