Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being designed and made all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
