Skyjack Boom Lifts Hawaii

Skyjack Boom Lifts Hawaii

Starting in the year 1986, Skyjack began making scissor lift platforms. They continued this mass production through the 1990s and became a global leader in the aerial lift business. Eventually, Skyjack grew to more than thirty percent market share overall. Even now, the company maintains their dominance as a key player who has rapidly adapted to the changing face of the industrial machine industry.

Some of the key factors which Skyjack has built a solid reputation on include their commitment to dependability and quality. They are recognized worldwide as being the manufacturer of the best scissor lifts within the globe. The Skyjack product series is sold and manufactured all over the globe.

Linamar Corporation, known as LNR on the TSX, acquired Skyjack during August 2002. Linamar is best recognized for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with increased strength and long-term stability overall. Skyjack presently has production facilities within the USA, Hawaii and Hungary with support offices in Europe and Asia.

The company has lots of self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models that could work at heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader in the industry by offering equipment features which combined serviceability, durability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts known throughout the globe for product dependability. The existing Boom lift model lineup of the company consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms which feature work heights ranging from 45 to 71 feet. The company has plans to further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

The acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business during the month of August 2007 complements the products obtained in the purchase of Carelift Equipment. These acquisitions have enhanced Skyjack's Telehandler product offering in both the Zoom Boom series and the VR series telehandlers. These acquisitions provide the company a chance to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the industry, providing reliable lift solutions.
